![]() ![]() Perfect for games like "Pac-Man" and others where dropping a coin (same as pressing start) instantly starts the game, as you can go completely "Coin Only" if you want. This means that dropping a coin sends the same signal as pressing the start button. The coin door is wired directly to the Start button on your cabinet, since Arcade1Up has no separate coin input spots on their control deck circuit boards. The dual head units come with both coin slots wired together, so you'll only have 2 main wires to work with coming from your door, not 4. I personally use the dual entry coin doors available from XArcade. ![]() All instructions also assume that you have removed the plastic cover underneath your control deck that covers all the wiring, which is just 6 simple screws. They are really super easy and complete that classic arcade look, and it's one of the few mods that I install on EVERY one of my cabinets. There are a couple of different ways, shown in the diagram attached below. After installing several of these, I get a lot of questions on how to wire these up. ![]()
